Speaker 1: In the midst of the aftermath of Super-storm Sandy, we realized the strength of Long Islanders. The effects of Super-storm Sandy have left many without power, homes are much worse. DLI and WBAB, Cox media group, Long Island along with doctors' Kahn, Ferrari, Aldiery and Lighthouse Mortgage, want to help Long Islanders get food, shelter and return to a sense of normalcy.

Speaker 1: There are many organizations on Long Island providing for those in need. Many of these resources can be found on bli.com or wbab.com. We'd like to direct those looking to help towards the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross is currently providing shelter, clothes, supplies, food and blood is needed for the victims of Sandy. The best way you can help is to text the word "red cross" 90999, and donate $10 to the disaster relief fund.
