"Okay, so I have been going to KFA dental for going on almost a year now. I was waiting to write a review after getting a bunch of fillings. Because I'm being honest, I was terrified of going back to the dentist. But before I delve into that, I want to talk about how amazing and kind everybody in the building is. The ladies at the front desk are SUPER professional, no question is a stupid question to them. I have never seen them rude to anyone before. You know how sometimes in some medical practices, you can have amazing healthcare professionals, yet the front desk staff is rude and it kills your overall experience? NOT THIS PLACE WHATSOEVER. Moving on, my first visit they did a bunch of X-rays and laid out to me what work needs to be done and explained in lay-mans terms what I need done and why I need it. Dental work is expensive, so you can always go on a payment plan and slowly pay everything off. (also, I have a few fees I still have to pay, and they don't seem to harass you about paying them off quickly) During my cleaning the dental hygienist was super professional and made sure I didn't feel any pain during it since I haven't had a cleaning done in a while. They give you an option to put the anesthetic ointment on your gums. During my fillings, I went in terrified I would feel the novacane needle, they were really good at letting me know what I was going to expect and that I was numb enough before injecting the needle. They gave me a lot of good tips and tricks to cleaning and caring for my teeth and I would honestly recommend people I know to go to KFA dental. If you are still worried about covid, and want to know if there's precautions still put in place, the dentist and hygienist still wear their masks in the there all day, and they ask that you wear a mask going into the building as well. Anybody scrolling reviews to see if they are worth going to, I would say definitively go! It is worth it here."- F.F. / Google / Aug 16, 2022
"KFA has the most welcoming ambience and a staff that always offers a warm greeting. My hygienist Melissa always makes me feel relaxed and she does an amazing and thorough cleaning. So much so that I feel totally invigorated after she’s done. Dr. Ferrari has been my dentist for over a decade and has completely transformed my smile. In fact, every dentist at KFA is highly qualified and consistently provide great care for their patients. You can think of KFA as the Spa for Dentistry."- M.D. / Google / Feb 18, 2023

Will I Benefit from A Dental Cleaning?
The ADA (American Dental Association) suggests professional dental cleanings twice per year. Babies should get their first dental exam before they turn one, and following that, one of our excellent doctors can help you decide when your child is old enough for their next appointment. A teeth cleaning may help you avoid cavities at any age due to plaque buildup, the biggest cause of tooth decay, is removed. It will also remove tartar and stains on your teeth, giving a glowing appearance to your clean mouth. If you’d like to brighten your smile, freshen your breath, and improve your overall oral health, make an appointment for your whole family at KFA Dental Excellence.
How Will You Clean My Teeth?
Your teeth cleaning will start by addressing the tartar and plaque that have built up on your enamel, which is usually hard to remove with just daily brushing and flossing. Advanced tools are used to carefully scale buildup without harming your teeth. To start, an ultrasonic device addresses large areas of tartar and plaque with a lubricating mist and high-speed vibrations. Then, handheld instruments, like a scaler or curette, will remove any remaining buildup. Every tooth needs to be treated individually to get all the buildup. After the teeth have been scaled, your enamel will be polished to remove stains from your teeth. If requested or needed, a professional fluoride treatment will be done following the cleaning. Once complete, you will have a fresh, clean mouth.
What Comes After My Teeth Cleaning?
One of our skilled dentists may suggest cleanings more frequently if you have any oral health concerns, such as periodontal disease. Otherwise, your next teeth cleaning will be scheduled for approximately six months later. During your appointment, your dentist or an assistant can help you design a good at-home oral care routine by demonstrating techniques and recommending products that will focus on your specific concerns. Both regular dental visits and a good home routine can be very beneficial for your teeth, wallet, and overall mouth health so be sure to attend your regular dental appointments at KFA Dental Excellence.
